- Read Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas (unabridged)
- Read Margaret George's historical fictions of: Mary, called Magdalene ; Henry VIII ; Mary Queen of Scotland
- Eliminate credit card debt
- Couch to 5K running programme
- Run a 5K Race
- Run a 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles)
- One month no Coca-Cola
- Watch Roots
- Complete NaNoWriMo
- Read Ayn Rand; Atlas Shrugged
- Daily 365 photo project
- Devote one hour a day to quiet time (reading, knitting, meditating)
- Decrease current yarn stash by 1/3
- Don't buy new yarn until remaining stash is decreased by 1/2
- Find a Signature dinner recipe from The Silver Spoon and learn how to make it from memory
- Learn to Fry Chicken
- Simplify makeup/face care routine
- Switch all household cleaners/detergents to all natural based products (i.e Mrs.Myers)
- Join a volunteer service organization and become an active member
- Take a Yoga class for one month (four consecutive weeks)
- Knit socks for Mom
- Knit socks for Aunt Doreen

- Bring breakfast and lunch to work for one month (put money normally used for buying meals in savings)

- Create various play lists on my iTunes (rather then just have them all listed under Music)
- Listen to every song on my iPod
- Host a Scrabble competition
- Have a professional henna application on my feet
- Donate an entire cart of groceries to the food bank
- Go paddle boating during Cherry Blossom season
- Put all the souvenir postcards from my international travels in a framed collage
- Take an IQ quiz
- Buy a Dyson vacumn cleaner
- Go to bed before 10pm for one month
- Visit the National Aquarium in Baltimore
- Purge (donate/freecycle) 101 personal things (not including clothes or housewares)
- Only purchase one item of clothing a month for six months (consecutively)

- Go through my makeup drawer and throw out unused products. Don't buy new products until all old products have been used

- Order personalized stationary/notecards
- Play Paintball
- Buy a Diane Von Furstenburg dress suitable for fall/winter
